The Zhou Guangren Young Pianist Award established in 2010, each year will be held during July -December, in Beijing, China.
Chinese and English are the official languages of the competition. Please read all rules and regulations carefully. It is your responsibility to make sure that your program complies with all repertoire and time requirements. Please include the timing for each work.
The 2nd Zhou Guangren Young Pianist Award is open to young pianists who are under 13 years old.
All video, audio recordings, as well as photographs and interviews made during any of the events of The Zhou Guangren Young Pianist Award will remain the sole property of The Zhou Guangren Young Pianist Award Committee, Beijing.

Application Rules and Procedures
1. Applicants should send videos (DVD) to the Committee to participate.
2. Applicants must be born after July 16th, 1997
3. Applications should be completed in both Chinese and English.
4. Application Forms can be downloaded from the website (www.zgrchina.com), copies are also permitted, with resume, three recent photos (4×5cm), one copy of ID card or Passport (printed on A4 paper) send together with the DVD.
5. All application materials must be sent by EMS or UPS etc.
6. Incomplete or illegible application forms will not be accepted
7. Application materials will not be returned. The committee reserves the final right for all decisions.
8. Application deadline: July 15th, 2011 - postmarked

Repertoire
Because 2011 is the Liszt year,so the repertoire require one Liszt Concert Etude chosen by Waldesrauschen”,Gnomenreigen”“Sospiro”,“la leggierezza”. One movement from Haydn Sonatas, Mozart Sonatas and Beethoven Sonatas(including slow movement).One work of the candidate's choice.

1. The person in the video must be the applicant himself/herself, dressed formally.
2. The video must be taken from one angle only. Neither the video nor the sound should be edited. Each piece should not exceed 15min.
3. The program and recording time must be written clearly, and sent together with the DVD.
