In order to promote the piano art in China, to discover young talents and give them a chance to show their ability, The Zhou Guangren Educational Technology (Beijing) Co. Ltd  is establishing a new competition on the website www.zgrchina.com called "Zhou Guangren Young Pianist Award" Piano Competition, for young pianists under the age of 18. It will be held annually, starting with the Chopin Year 2010. This is a very special and entirely different way of judging the competition where the judges can stay at home and give their comments and votes through the website.

Committee
The Zhou Guangren Young Pianist Award is held from July  - December 2010, and this will be an annual event. The Competition Organizing Committee reserves the right to organize performances related to the competition. All videos recorded and taped will be the exclusive property of the Competition Organizing Committee. No payment will be given to any competitor for the recordings.
